Mark Rashid in Oregon

Hey Folks!
Those of you interested in natural horsemanship have to experience Mark Rashid at least once in your lifetime! See enclosed comments heard from those involved at this clinic in Beaver Oregon, riders and auditors. Mark does a remarkable job connecting the horse and the owner. Thank you for showing how a huge horse and a little timid gal connect, Timid, because of an accident 2 years prior. This horse has been out to pasture and not worked with for the past two years. The owner is injured with the last acquaintance. At the end of four days (1 hour each day) the horse came to the woman lowering his head, soft as butter, and absorbing the pats her owner is willing to offer. What an affair!
One of the co-hosts verbalized his idea of what he would like to see offered in NH prior Marks arrival. Our first day proved to meet this individual expectation, and not having found this positive relationship between horse and owner in past experience with clinics.
When you can take a 1/2 ton animal and get him to move back with a touch as light as a fly landing, by touching his chest, this impresses people. Who would have thought? How can you get your horse to stop by sitting back gently, rolling your hips back, and relaxing in the saddle? A three year old green broke horse, and green broke owner,(ha) that's who!
In past clinic experiences a trainer will speak for the horse, to the horse, working on a connection with the horse, and sometimes without soft touch, and so on. This man, by the name of Mark Rashid, spoke of this idea not proving as beneficial as he would like. Mark shared his realization of this in his first couple of months with personal experience in clinic presentations. He found a new way, connect the two! What a novel idea. After all, the two will be together long after the clinic is over! The gentle manor, in which this man is known for, is witnessed by ? his character, ? seeing the affect in these large animals, while Mark works with them, ? In addition, perhaps the biggest challenge of all, felt by humans! What a wonderful experience for your horse and yourself!
Do you both a favor and see Mark Rashid. Thank you Mark.
